Successful Webinar by PAFA and the Good Governance Academy. PAFA, in collaboration with the Good Governance Academy, hosted a continuation of the “Mind the Gap” Dialogue that was started by the GGA earlier this year following the launch of the Mind the Gap project by the Public Oversight Board. The Public Interest Oversight Board (PIOB) , which oversees the standards developed by the International Audit and Assurance Standards Board (IAASB) and the International Ethics Standards Board for Accountants (IESBA), launched the “Mind the Gap” programme to engage with its stakeholders – the public as well as the auditors and accountants – to better understand decision-making “gaps.” Participating in the event were Professor Mervyn King, Patron of the Good Governance Academy, Ms Linda de Beer, Chair of the PIOB, Mr Imre Nagy, CEO of South Africa's Independent Regulatory Board for Auditors and CPA Sandra Njagi, Head of Corporate Planning and Strategy at Isuzu East Africa.
